Jay Eichberger is an Environmental Scientist who has been working in the Environmental Industry since 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Eichberger has experience working for a remediation firm conducting bench scale treatability studies utilizing several oxidants (Fenton’s Reagent, persulfate, and sodium permanganate). He has assisted in and supervised full-scale applications of in-situ chemical oxidation to remediate a variety of contaminants (BTEX, coal tar, dodecylbenzene, and chlorinated VOCs) utilizing Fenton’s Reagent and sodium permanganate at a variety of sites across the United States located in California, Florida, Kansas, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and New Jersey.
Mr. Eichberger holds the position of laboratory manager and maintains Peak’s certification under New Jersey’s Environmental Laboratory Program. He has experience with ISRA transactions, Superfund sites, Spill Act, regulated and unregulated USTs, and Brownfield sites. Mr. Eichberger has conducted and managed the investigation of soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion pathways. He has experience with all phases of site assessments, remedial investigations, and remedial actions. Mr. Eichberger has been involved with the investigation of a variety of sites including:
